What does an ADGM do?

Assistant Division Governor Marketing

Strives to achieve Distinguished Division club growth goals:

  • At a minimum the division should have no club loss (i.e., if the division began the year with 15 clubs, it should end the year with 15 paid clubs).
  • Every division should strive for a net growth of at least one club.

Helps areas achieve distinguished area status by assisting area governors in achievement of Distinguished Area Program goals related to membership:

  • Ensures club dues renewals are submitted on time.
  • Ensures clubs are at 20-plus membership.
  • Directs and coordinates the marketing strategies.
  • Directs membership development and retention programs.
  • Coordinates rescue of weak clubs.
  • Works with lt. governor marketing to develop a strong marketing program.

Another huge need in the district is for club coaches. Training for coaches will be provided as well.

Why should you become a club coach?

1) As you collaborate with a club to help add new and retain existing members, you stretch yourself to come up with new creative methods that you can take back to your own club.

2) You gain new leadership skills by helping others achieve a common goal.

3) A successful club coach is awarded credit towards the Advanced Leader Silver award.

A very wise friend in Toastmasters, our PRO Ron Jones, reminded me of a quote from leadership guru, Zig Ziglar.

"You can get anything in life you want  if you will just help enough other  people get what they want."

Please consider becoming a club coach!
