Speakers and Speech Topics How does it work? Review the speakers and the speeches available on this website here, and contact the coordinator with your location, date and time, and speaker or topic requested. After the initial contact, the requested speaker will work directly with your group on the details. Click here for a list of general topics and speakers bureau members. Finally, we would request an evaluation of the speaker and speakers bureau once the engagement is completed, either using the forms provided by the speaker at the event. Is there any cost? The speakers bureau is a free service to the community, provided by District 54 Toastmasters. Individual Toastmasters may not accept personal honoraria for speaking, other than a token gift or meal. However, reimbursement for travel or other expenses is appreciated, but not required. Gifts to the speakers bureau to help defray bureau expenses are always welcome.
